All pricing will be in CAD - We currently only offer services within Canada and the United States. All described or discussed pricing should be considered in Canadian dollar.

Payment must be made through PayPal invoice provided CalderCatLabs. Do not attempt to submit a payment through other means unless requested otherwise by the artist.

Non-local commissions that cannot be delivered in person will be shipped via Fedex - Buyer is responsible for cost of shipping.

CalderCatLabs is not responsible for any damage incurred during shipping. We'll do our best to ensure the finished commission is sufficiently protected however, no amount of packing peanuts will protect your Protogen if Fedex decides to drop a forklift on your package. While not required, it is strongly advised that commissions be fully insured during the shipping process.

Scope of commission will be determined before payment is received - While we do our best to accommodate changes to scope over the duration of a project, we reserve the right to refuse requests for change at our discretion. This includes but is not limited to design elements, sizing/fit requests, etc.

By submitting a request for quote, the client agrees that the subject of commission is their original intellectual property, or that the client has obtained permission from the subject's owner to request a commission depicting their character.

CalderCatLabs reserves the right to refuse work that involves or relate to depictions that are illegal, hateful, or otherwise obscene in nature.

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required before a quote(with concept sketch) will be provided. This deposit will be discounted from the total cost of commission. Quote requests submitted before 13/3/2025 are exempt from quote deposit.  

A minimum down-payment of 40% is required to cover upfront material cost. The down-payment will be refundable for one (1) week after payment is received. After one (1) week, the down-payment will be considered non-refundable.

By submitting a request for quote the client agrees that they are above the age of 18 and legal adult in their place of residence. Minors under the age will be required to provide proof of permission from a legal parent or guardian prior to providing any payment.

A reference sheet or at least 2 pieces of reference art of the commission subject should be provided prior to payment. We reserve the right to refuse commission work if we determine the provided reference media to be insufficient or lacking in sufficient detail.

In the event that the client is unreachable through standard avenues (Email, Telegram, etc.) for 2 or more months, CalderCatLabs reserves the right to consider commissions cancelled and reallocate materials toward active commissions.

Updates to commissions will be provided to the client directly, and will be made available over Trello.

Clients should expect a standard delivery window of 6-8 weeks from when a deposit is made. CalderCatLabs reserves the right to extend this window if deemed necessary. The client will be provided ample notice should the delivery timeline change.

Terms of service are subject to change as deemed necessary.
